Chewbacca in February
part II -Playing-
Chewbacca, you ate and played quite a lot this day, didn't you?
He played with this 'swinging log' with eagerness.
This log is suspended by a cord from a big oak tree which is
in the center of his enclosure.
Can you see me ?
It seems to be difficult to distinguish Chewbacca from the ground and the
tree
because of the reflection of the glass and
the play of sunlight through the trees.
I heard that this swinging log was contrived by a keeper in the fall in
2002.

He was biting it, pushing it with his head and nose
and was chasing it or he was being chased by it vice versa
while he was sometimes lying .
He was attacking it in spite of his being attacked by it as a reaction.
*It is said that the wombat's skull is so thick that he may have no problem
even if he was hit by a log.
